Pony Parties
Pony parties for children are the perfect way of celebrating birthdays or any other event. We have a wide range of adorable, gentle and safe ponies for children to ride and groom. Our pony parties are great fun and supervised by our riding centre’s friendly, experienced staff. Contact us for more information on our pony parties or to book.
When do pony parties take place?
Saturdays and Sundays at 1.30, 2.45 and 4pm or weekdays after school
How old do children need to be to take part in a pony party?
Five years or over
What happens at pony parties?
- The group will ride together for an hour. This includes games on horseback.
- Alternatively, to be cost effective, the children can be divided into two groups, with one group riding for 30 minutes while the other grooms the ponies. Then they switch!
- After each session, each child will receive a rosette, followed by refreshments in our special party room.
- The catering for pony parties can be tailored to your individual needs and we can also provide themed cakes upon request. This costs just £7 per child or you can hire the party room for £50 and bring your own catering.
No prior experience of riding is required, just a pair of comfortable trousers (not jeans), shoes or boots with a small heel and warm or waterproof clothing if wet. Hard hats and boots are available for hire at the equestrian centre office upon arrival.
