The centre were extremely professional at all times and I can honestly say the day was great value for money and delivered the team building exercise we were looking for. As for the horses they were fantastic and looked after all our riders.

It's now weeks after the event and people are still saying how much they enjoyed it and when they can come back!

Equestrian Events

We run a large variety of equestrian events alongside our regualar lessons and hacks.

Details of these events can be found in the 'forthcoming events' section of the website, and are also displayed on a large notice board in the main reception.

Our equestrian events include, dressage & show-jumping clinics & competitions, summer evening hacks, pub rides, BHS exam courses, Pony/ 'Own a Pony' days/ weeks, Adult Fun Days, Stable management courses, Children's fun rides, treasure hunts and picnic rides, gymkhanas and show-jumping course hire.  These events are open to all clients riding at the applicable level, and liveries keeping their horses at the centre.

To book for client events, please call the main reception on 020 8363 8630/9005, or book at the reception desk. Full payment will be taken on booking. Unfortunately we are unable to take bookings online.

Choose two of the three tests, or just do one.

Those competing at Novice level, must not take part in the Intro class

Points will be awarded according to the percentage gained in each test, ie,

50-51.99% = 1 point

52% - 53.99% = 2 points

54% - 55.99% = 3 points

56% - 57.99% = 4 points

58% - 59.99% = 5 points

60%- 61.99% = 6 points

62%-63.99% = 7 points

64%-65.99% = 8 points

etc

Final placings will be decided according to the percentage gained throughout the league.

Rosettes will be awarded at each competition to the person with the highest percentage in each class

Copies of the test may be obtained from the main desk

Additional practice sessions will be arranged to enable you to practice sections of the test, however; due to limited arena space, it will not be possible for you to practice to complete tests at these sessions

Advanced Teen Days

Start: Tuesday 31st March 2015

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Will include a minimum of 2 hours riding.  This may be flatwork, hacking or jumping

Lots of pony care to include: Mucking out, haying and watering, feeding, rugs and bandaging, grooming, clipping and plaiting.  

Riders must be 13+ yrs old, competent in walk, trot and canter with and without stirrups, capable of jumping a 60cm course on a variety of ponies.

Please Note, all riders wishing to book on this must have first been assessed by either Val, Emma or Charis at the centre. These days are strictly for advanced teenage riders only!

 'PONY DAY PLUS

Start: Tuesday 31st March 2015

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Class 1: Miniature Clear Round (40cm)

One round, fences 1-8. Fences not to exceed 40cm. Rosettes to all clear rounds.  Competitors in this class may not compete in classes 4-7.

Class 2: Mini Stakes (50cm)

Fences 1-8 in the first round, 9-14 in the second round against the clock. Fences not to exceed 50cm.

Class 3: Starter's Stakes (60cm)

Fences 1-8 in the first round, 9-14 in the second round against the clock. Fences not to exceed 55cm.

Class 4: Minimus (65cm)

Fences 1-8 in the first round, 9-14 in the second round against the clock. Fences not to exceed 60cm.

Class 5: Novice Pairs (65cm)

Each person jumps 1-8 against the clock. The fastest combined time wins.

Class 6: Novice (70cm)

Fences 1-8 in the first round. 9-14 in the second round against the clock. Fences not to exceed 70cm.

Class 7: Intermediate (80cm)

Fences 1-8 in the first round, 9-14 in the second round against the clock. Fences not to exceed 80cm.

Suitable for adults & children, these course follow the syllabus of the British Horse Society Progressive & Junior Progressive Riding Tests.  No obligation to take the final assessment.

10 week course: £355

Taster course: 5 week: £185

Each session includes a one hour riding lesson and a one hour stable management session.

Prices include the badge and certificate at the end of the course if participants are successful in final assessment.
