Director

Sue Martin BHSII

Sue worked as a helper at Trent Park and began teaching jump lessons at 13 - in the days that it was possible!  She began a career with horses whilst show jumping with the International rider Mannie Beaven and ran the centre whilst owned by Keith Beaven for -several years.  The centre was purchased in 1995 and the family have run it since.

Centre Manager

Maria Johnson BHSAI ISM/IT

Maria was a helper at Trent Park Equestrian Centre as a teenager. She then went away to college to study horses. She gained her BHS exams in various training yards and returned to take over the role of Centre Manager in 1996.

Assistant Yard Managers

Adam Petch BHSII

Joined Trent Park in 2006 as a BHSAI, having worked at various yards and trained at Wellington Riding. Adam quickly fitted in to the team and was soon promoted to Assistant Yard Manager. Adam has trained towards and gained his BHSII in his time with us and is currently training towards his BHSI exams. Adam has also recently achieved an NVQ level 3 in Business Management. 

Senior Staff

Angela Seymour BHSAI

Angela has worked at Trent Park Equestrian Centre for approx 18 yrs, gaining her BHSAI with us. Angela is also a qualified Nursery nurse and a riding and road safety trainer. Angela is currently working towards her BHSII.

Richard McKnight BHSAI IVSM

Richard has been with Trent Park Equestrian Centre for three years, and has recently completed his BHSAI examinations. He is now working towards his BHS II.

Esmeralda Gonzalez-Correa BHSAI IVSM

Esme came to Trent Park in 2003 from Tenerife to train towards her BHSAI and improve her English. When she gained her BHSAI in 2006 she decided to go and work in a showing and stud yard to gain more experience in these area, which are of great interest to her. She has recently rejoined the team at Trent Park to work towards her BHSII.

Instructors

Kerry Jamieson BHSII

Joined Trent Park Equestrian Centre in 1999 as a student, having gained her BHSAI became one of the Assistant Yard Managers in 2003 and has since gained her BHSII. Kerry has now left full time work at Trent Park to run a small livery yard and works free lance both teaching and helping manage the yard on a Sunday. 

Nicola Biggs BHSII

Nicola has worked for Trent Park Equestrian Centre for approx 12 yrs, initially as a senior member of staff and in recent years as a freelance instructor. Nicola is also an NVQ assessor, assessing NVQ levels 2 & 3 along with the other assessors at Trent Park.

Michelle Staff BHSAI

Michelle has been at Trent Park Equestrian Centre since 1991, she gained her BHSAI as a student with us and worked as one of the Assistant Yard Managers for approx 15 years. Michelle has recently gone part time and now teaches on a free lance basis. 

Doriel Watson BHSII

Doriel joined Trent Park in 2007. Having studied at Oaklands college for a National diploma in equine management and achieving her BHS stage 1 and 2 and her NVQ level 2 in horse care. She then worked towards her BHS Stage 3 and 4 and came to Trent Park with almost her full BHSII. She completed this qualification at Trent Park. Doriel is responsible for a lot of the student training at Trent Park.

Valerie Borrow BHSAI

Valerie learnt to ride at Trent Park when she was 14. She then came as a full time student in 2001. She gained her BHSAI in 2002 and then worked here full time until 2008. She now works as a freelance instructor for us and runs our Supercrew kids club. Valerie also organises a lot of our client events and shows.

Matt Bannon BHSAI

Matt has worked at Trent Park for 7 years, initially as a helper and then joined the team as a free lance instructor after gaining his BHSAI with us.
