Pony Weeks for all the children’s holidays

Lessons, hacking, lectures, grooming, tack cleaning, feeding, mucking out, points of the horse, drill ride display, gymkhana.

One of our favourite activities at the centre are the Pony Days and Pony Weeks, these are run throughout the school hoidays including half terms. We aim to provide an all round picture of horses, lessons, hacks, lectures, hands on with grooming, tack cleaning, mucking out and all forms of horse care.

The children aged 5 to 15 years and split into groups and monitored throughout the day. Sensible clothes, packed lunch and dropped off for 10:30 – the day is packed with fun and enjoyment. Pck up at 4:15.

Fridays are the end of the pony week – we aim to add for the pony weekers a tack and turnot competition, all pony weekers will receive a graded certificate and rosette. The day culminates with a gymkhana at 2:30. Parents are invited to watch this and we know that you will enjoy the spectacle.

All children must be signed in and signed out, registration forms must be completed.

Lectures may change dependent on the ability of the children – no two pony weeks are the same and we strive to educate all the pupils with sound education based on The British Horse Society ethos.
